They're more interested in telling you about particular lift
exercises that will help you to develop bulk and muscle

The exercise fitness people are light on visible
muscle growth and many of the lifters mistakenly place too
little emphasis on other aspects of physical well-being. When
it comes to exercise, fitness versus muscle debates continue to
rage on.
It's a longstanding
face-off. It's runners against the guys on muscle
beach. It's the people grunting with heavy free weights in the
back of the gym versus those who are working up a sweat on the
stair machine. It's weight loss against strength training and
running marathons against developing a shocking power
lift.
But who's
right? It depends completely on what you want to
accomplish. Are you looking to lose weight and to improve your
overall well-being? You might want to follow the cardio
recommendations with respect to exercise. Fitness may require a
blend of activities, but focusing on aerobic exercise is a very
solid foundation for most people.

increase your mass and to develop impressive strength?
If that's what you're after, you need to listen to those who
understand the ins and out of strength training. They can march
you through a process that's bound to leave you bigger,
stronger and "ripped".
No matter which direction you
go, committing to exercise
fitness is going to improve your health. The choice of
strategy is going to be a byproduct of your personal
objectives.
However, the best way to
achieve maximum fitness doesn't involve nodding along with
muscle-building gurus or sweating to step aerobics with a
fitness freak. The best way to get yourself in peak
physical condition is to merge the two
approaches.

You can work to increase your
muscle tone and strength while simultaneously burning calories,
increasing your metabolism and losing unwanted fat. A
combination of the weightlifting and fitness models is, in the
end, the best way to enhance your overall health and
well-being. Don't allow yourself to be pigeon-holed in
any one group--take the best of both worlds to create
an exercise regiment that will offer you maximum
benefit.
